A charming pair ofArt Deco era earrings, modeled in 14k yellow gold, each featuring a pair of captive-carved, interlocking, jade rings. This jade is soft apple green, with subtle variegation, and lovely even texture. The earring tops are hand-sawed circles, open and coin-like— at their centers they hold six-petaled flowers, made with delicate canetille wire-work and granulation. These earrings are very flattering in wear—they talk sweetly, making agentle clinkingnoise with movement. The original screw backs could be easily converted, should the wearer prefer French hooks. We love the color of this jade, and theconcept of being eternally connected that is implied by the captive-carved rings. Marked 14k for purity.
